Responsibilities

The Parks and Recreation Board advises the Board of Supervisors on parks and recreation related topics including improvements, programs, planning, and policies. During the summer months, Board members attend evening park events to serve as Park Ambassadors for the Willistown Parks and Recreation Department. 

There are two sections of the code that address parks and recreation in Willistown Township. The Parks Code, Chapter 96, outlines what is and is not permissible in the Township's parks and preserves. Chapter 31 addresses the Parks & Recreation Board.
