Steve is a graduate of the Philadelphia Police Academy and has been a police officer since 1995.  He started his police career in Bristol Township, Bucks County from 1995- 2003 and was hired in Willistown Township in January of 2003.  As a patrol officer, he worked as a DARE Officer, CPR/First Aid Instructor, and Field Training Officer.  He was assigned to the Detective Division in 2011 and promoted to Sergeant in charge of Criminal Investigations in 2019.  In April of 2025, he was promoted to Lieutenant.  He also serves as the department’s Public Information Officer and is a member of the FBI Child Exploitation Task Force.  

His law enforcement accolades include:

  • Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Medal of Valor
  • US Department of Justice Major Case Commendation Award
  • 2019 Chester County Law Enforcement Officer of the Year

Steve is a US Army veteran and has a bachelor’s degree in economics from Excelsior University and a master’s degree in public safety from Saint Joseph’s University.  He is a graduate of the Northwestern University School of Police Staff & Command session 573 and the FBI Leeda Trilogy Series.
