Greetings Willistown Parks & Recreation Friends,

Having been born and raised here, and having devoted over 20 years of my working life to Willistown first working for the Willistown Conservation Trust and then working as Director of Parks & Recreation for the past 15 years, it is my pleasure to contribute to making Willistown wonderful. I love this place!

The Parks & Recreation Department endeavors to foster healthy minds, bodies, and spirits. My events and programs encourage a connection to nature and a love of being outdoors by creating lasting, happy memories in our parks and preserves. Along those lines, please read about my new Kindness Rocks Willistown Township movement. Let's spread compassion and kindness in our neck of the woods!

Are you ready for the trail? Dog owners have the privilege of being able to walk dogs on leash at Willistown Township's Okehocking Preserve, Serpentine Preserve, and Fox Hollow and Duffryn Trails. For the safety of you, your dog, and other preserve and trail visitors, please attend this dog owner training led by the Dog Training Center of Chester County. Willistown Township's Okehocking Preserve is 185 acres of bucolic Chester County landscape. I wrote many grants over the years as both a Willistown Conservation Trust and Township employee acquiring millions of dollars in funds to leverage to the Willistown Township Open Space Fund to purchase these lands. The Willistown Conservation Trust holds an easement protecting the property and it's valuable ecological assets in perpetuity.
