Impact of Recent Storm, Hurricane Debby Remnants on August 9-10, 2024

As you are probably aware, Willistown and the surrounding region experienced impacts from the remnants of Hurricane Debby this past Friday, August 9 into Saturday, August 10. The Willistown Township Public Works Department responded to downed trees throughout the Township; and portions of Willistown were without power, due largely to the impacts of high winds.

We wanted to let the residents of the Ronnie Park neighborhood know that the Township did not receive any reports of flooding on Friday or Saturday from residents on Jacqueline, Sunset, or Rollingview Drive. If you observed or experienced flooding on your property or in the neighborhood during the recent storm event, please email Public Works Director Bill Hagan at bhagan@willistown.pa.us.
