NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Willistown Township Zoning Hearing Board will meet on Wednesday, August 23, 2023, at 7:00 p.m., prevailing time, at the offices of the Township located at 688 Sugartown Road, Malvern, Willistown Township, Chester County, Pennsylvania, to conduct such business as may properly come before the Board and to hold a hearing on the following:
Application Z-4-23: Application of Anthony and Deborah DiAngelus who propose to construct a swimming pool, coping and patio and seek variances from the following provisions: §139-94.B of the Willistown Township Zoning Ordinance to permit the construction of a swimming pool, coping and patio within the required rear yard, where any structure with a footprint of more than 150 square feet shall not be permitted in the required yards; §139-153(E)(7) of the Zoning Ordinance to permit the pool and related hardscaping to be located approximately 11.4 feet from the rear property line, where a minimum rear yard setback of 25 feet is required; and §139-153(E)(9) of the Zoning Ordinance to permit the construction of the pool and related hardscaping that will result in a total impervious coverage of 38.3%, where a maximum imperious coverage of 30% is otherwise permitted, for the property located at 211 Walnut Tree Lane, being UPI No. 54-2-294, in the R-1 Residence District but developed pursuant to the OSC District regulations; and such further relief as may be necessary.
Application Z-5-23: Application of David and Susan Anderson who seek a variance from §139-28.C(1) of the Willistown Township Zoning Ordinance to permit the construction of a home addition to the existing dwelling that will result in a front yard setback of 28.5 feet, where a minimum front yard setback of 60 feet is required; and may require a special exception pursuant to §139-90.B(2) of the Zoning Ordinance to permit the expansion of the existing nonconforming dwelling, for the property located at 2 Marlin Drive, being UPI No. 54-3-43, in the R-1 Residence District; and such further relief as may be necessary.
