NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Willistown Township Zoning Hearing Board will meet on Wednesday, December 22, 2021, at 7:30 p.m., prevailing time, at the offices of the Township located at 688 Sugartown Road, Malvern, Willistown Township, Chester County, Pennsylvania, to conduct such business as may properly come before the Board and to hold a hearing on the following:
Application Z-11-21: Application of Thomas and Brittany Kehoe which seeks a variance from and special exception pursuant to §139-90.B(2) (Nonconforming buildings or uses) of the Willistown Township Zoning Ordinance to permit the extension of the existing nonconforming building by 61% for the construction of building additions, deck, patio, porch and sidewalks to the existing single-family detached dwelling where 50% is the maximum permitted increase to a nonconforming building. The Applicants also seek variances from §139-159 (Riparian Buffer Area (RBA) Conservation District) of the Zoning Ordinance, which incorporates the provisions of Chapter 73, Environmental Protection, Article XII (Riparian Buffer Area (RBA) Conservation District) of the Willistown Township Code, to permit the construction of building additions, deck, patio, porch and sidewalks within the Zone 2 Riparian Buffer Area where they are not otherwise permitted under §73-62.B.(1) (Permitted uses) and to waive the requirement for submission and approval of an RBA management plan under §73-64 (Riparian buffer area management plan requirements) for the property located at 10 Post Road, being UPI No. 54-3-338, in the R-1 Residence District; and such further relief as may be necessary.
A copy of the foregoing application will be available for public inspection at the Township office during normal business hours. An opportunity will be given to any citizen and to all parties in interest to be heard with respect to this application.
