Sealed bids for the “2021 Resurfacing Contract” will be received by the Willistown Township Board of Supervisors until April 15, 2021 at 1:00 P.M. All bids shall be upon forms furnished by the Township, which may be obtained at the Township offices located at 688 Sugartown Road, Malvern, PA 19355.
All bids shall be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in the amount of 10% of the bid, made payable to Willistown Township. Envelopes containing bids shall be sealed, marked “Bid Proposal for Road Improvements” and delivered to

Sealed bids will be opened and publicly read aloud via zoom in the Township meeting room located 688 Sugartown Road, Malvern, PA 19355 on April 15, 2021 at 1:00 P.M. Any bid received after the April 15, 2021 deadline of 1:00 P.M. will be returned to the bidder unopened.
The Project includes the Paving of Various Township Roads. The Prevailing Wage Act 442 applies to this project. All materials must meet current Pennsylvania Department of Transportation Specifications.
Item #1: 24,832 Sq. Yds. Full Width Milling to a Depth of 1.5 Inches.
Item #2: 5,960 Sq. Yds. Full Width Milling to a Depth of 3 Inches.
Item #3: Deliver and Place 10,560 Sq. Yds. 12.5mm Superpave 64-22.3 to 3 ESALS (No Substitutions Allowed) to a Compacted Depth of 2 inches.
Item #4: Deliver and Place 20,232 Sq. Yds. 9.5mm Superpave 64-22.3 to 3 ESALS (No Substitutions Allowed) to a Compacted Depth of 1.5 Inches.
Item #5: Deliver and Place 75 Tons. 12.5mm Superpave 64-22.3 to 3 ESALS (No Substitutions Allowed) Leveling Course.
Item #6: Deliver and Place 75 Tons. 9.5mm Superpave 64-22.3 to 3 ESALS (No Substitutions Allowed) Leveling Course.
The Willistown Township Board of Supervisors intends to award this contract to the lowest responsible bidder during their public meeting on April 26, 2021 at 7:00 P.M. The Township reserves the right to reject any and all bids, or to waive any defects or irregularities on proposal.
