[ARCHIVED] Zoning Hearing Board Public Meeting

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Willistown Township Zoning Hearing Board will meet on Wednesday, March 24, 2021, at 7:00 p.m., prevailing time, to conduct such business as may properly come before the Board and continue to hold a hearing on the following applications. Due to the risks in regard to the COVID-19 virus, the hearing will be conducted virtually using the ZOOM meeting conference software. Information on how to join the meeting will be available on the Willistown Township website (https://www.willistown.pa.us/) in advance of the meeting and will be posted at the Municipal Building.

Application No. Z-5-20: Application of Christ Memorial Lutheran Church and School which seeks the following variances from the Willistown Township Zoning Ordinance: A variance from §139-111.C(4) to permit the illumination of a sign in the R-1 Residence and Paoli Pike Corridor Districts where it is otherwise not permitted; and a variance from §139-111.P(1)(a-c) (Nonconforming signs) to permit a legal nonconforming sign that has been changed to another nonconforming sign, structurally or electrically expanded or modernized, and relocated to another site on the same property to remain in use, on the properties located at 85 Line Road and 89 Line Road, being UPI Nos. 54-2-59, 54-2-60 and 54-2-60.1, in the R-1 Residence and Paoli Pike Corridor Districts; and any such further relief as may be necessary.

Application No. Z-1-21: Application of Adam Loew and Kelly Loew which appeals the decision/Zoning Notice dated December 21, 2020 regarding the installation of a fence pursuant to §139-123 (Functions: Appeals from Zoning Officer) of the Willistown Township Zoning Ordinance; alternatively, Applicants seek equitable relief pursuant to a determination of equitable estoppel, vested rights, and/or variance by estoppel to permit a nonconforming fence to remain on the Applicants’ property; or, alternatively, Applicants seek a variance from §139-105.B (Fences or walls) to permit a fence that exceeds six feet in height, where six feet is the maximum permitted height, to remain on the property located at 721 Hillview Road, being UPI#54-3-333.2A, in the Rural District; and any such further relief as may be necessary.

Copies of the foregoing applications are available for public inspection on the Willistown Township website (https://www.willistown.pa.us/). An opportunity will be given to any citizen and to all parties in interest to be heard with respect to this application.
