Jacqueline Drive Drainage Mitigation Project
Invitation to Bid
Notice is hereby given that the Board of Supervisors of Willistown Township will accept bids for the Jacqueline Drive Drainage Mitigation Project, Located at 18 Jacqueline Drive and 36 Sunset Drive, Willistown Twp.
The project generally consists of: (1) Restoring severely eroded areas by the placement of imported fill material (240 CYs), compacted in lifts and stabilizing with (7100 sf) of permanent and (3200 sf) of temporary turf matting; (2) Installing three each PennDOT type M inlets over an existing 21” RCP storm pipe; (3) Installing two Rock Filter berms; and (4) Complete Restoration of the private property site.

A non-refundable fee of $50.00 is required for each bid document package, payable to Yerkes Associates, Inc. Sealed Bids will be accepted until 1:00 PM on February 17, 2021 at which time they will be publicly opened and read aloud at the Township Building via Zoom. All bidders will receive an invitation prior to the bid opening. Any bid delivered after 1:00 PM will be returned to the bidder unopened. Anticipated contract award is February 25, 2021. Hand-delivered sealed bids must be given to a Township Employee. (Bill Hagan, 610-647-5300 ext. 240) from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday to Friday, except Holidays.
Sealed bids are to be addressed to Willistown Township and delivered to 688 Sugartown Road, Malvern, Pa., 19355. A bid bond or certified check in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the bid amount is required and should be include in the bid submission packet. All bidders are required to attend a pre-bid meeting on Feb. 10, 2021 at 10:00AM at 36 Sunset Drive. Prevailing wage rates apply. PA. Act 127 (Public Works Employment Verification Act) requirements are applicable. The selected bidder will be required to furnish a Performance Bond, Payment Bond, Maintenance Bond, and Insurance Certifications, including Worker's Compensation Insurance.
Willistown Township reserves the right to reject any and all bids, parts thereof, and/or any or all bid alternates, and, in general, to make awards in any manner deemed to be in the project’s best interest. Questions shall be directed to Nick Cirilli, PE, Yerkes Associates, Inc. (610-613-3455).
