Zoning Hearing Board Public Meeting

NOTICE

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Willistown Township Zoning Hearing Board will meet on Wednesday, October 23, 2019, at 7:30 p.m., prevailing time, at the offices of the Township located at 688 Sugartown Road, Malvern, Willistown Township, Chester County, Pennsylvania, to conduct such business as may properly come before the Board and to hold a hearing on the following:

 Application No. Z-4-16:  Request of Erika Katz which seeks relief from §139-126.2 (Expiration of approval for special exception or variance) of the Willistown Township Zoning Ordinance which requires an applicant to obtain a building permit or use and occupancy permit within eighteen (18) months of the date of authorization of a special exception or variance, to extend the time period of the variances previously granted by the Willistown Township Zoning Hearing Board for an additional six months.  The subject property is located at 229 Dutton Mill Road, West Chester, being UPI #54-6-61.1, located in the RU Rural District; and such further relief as may be necessary. 

 Application No. Z-9-19: Application of Jason and Marci Luty who seek variances from §139-36.C(1) (Front yard) and §139-36.C(2) (Side yards) of the Willistown Township Zoning Ordinance to permit the construction of an addition to the existing dwelling resulting in a front yard setback of 26.5 feet where 30 feet is required, a side yard of 2.79 feet where 10 feet is required, and an aggregate side yard setback of 22.83 feet where an aggregate of 25 feet is required, for the property located at 23 Sandy Lane, being UPI No. 54-1P-95, in the R-3 Residence District; and such further relief as may be necessary.

Application No. Z-10-19: Application of John H. Reed, Jr. and Laura Reed who seek a variance from §73-62.B(1) (Permitted uses) of the Willistown Township Zoning Ordinance to permit the construction of an addition to the existing dwelling within Zone 2 of the Riparian Buffer Area. Additionally, the Applicants seek a special exception pursuant to §139-90.B(2) (Nonconforming buildings or uses – Extension) to permit the expansion of the existing nonconforming dwelling, for the property located at 1 Pond Lane, being UPI #54-3-214, in the RA Residence District; and such further relief as may be necessary.


Copies of the foregoing applications are available for public inspection at the Township office during normal business hours. An opportunity will be given to any citizen and to all parties in interest to be heard with respect to these applications.
