GARRETT MILL ROAD OVER RIDLEY CREEK BRIDGE REHABILITATION
General Notice
Willistown Township (Owner) is requesting Bids for the construction of the following Project:
Garrett Mill Road over Ridley Creek Bridge Rehabilitation
Bids for the construction of the Project will be received online via PennBID only until June 11, 2025, at 10:00 AM local time. Hand delivered, mailed, or faxed bids will not be accepted. Received bids will be opened and made public immediately following the due date and time.
The Project includes the following Work: Rehabilitation of the Garrett Mill Road Bridge over Ridley Creek, including required erosion and sediment pollution control items. All work will be completed with Willistown Township’s legal right-of-way and be completed from the existing / proposed bridge deck or the Garrett Mill Road approach roadway. All work is to be in conformance with Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) Publication 408 Specifications and the Contract Documents. Bidders must be prequalified by the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation, as specified in Section 102.01 of PennDOT Publication 408 Specifications.

Bidding Documents may be downloaded from the designated website. The designated website will be updated periodically with addenda, lists of registered plan holders, reports, and other information relevant to submitting a Bid for the Project. All official notifications, addenda, and other Bidding Documents will be offered only through the designated website. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for Bidding Documents, including addenda, if any, obtained from sources other than the designated website.
Instructions to Bidders.
Bids are to be submitted on the forms furnished in the bid documents package and unit prices are entered directly into PennBID. Each bid shall be accompanied by a bid bond in the amount of not less than ten (10) percent of the total amount of the bid. The successful bidder shall be bound to provide a Performance Bond and Payment Bond in the amount of one hundred (100) percent of the contract price on bond forms provided by Owner.
All bidders must be PennDOT prequalified and must complete the anti-collusion affidavit included in the bid documents. This contract is in accordance with the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act as stated in the Contract Documents.
