PUBLIC NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN – The Township of Willistown, Chester County, will consider the adoption of and vote upon the enactment of an Ordinance at its regular meeting on Monday, May 22, 2023 at 7:00 p.m. A summary of the proposed Ordinance is as follows:
The Township adopted Ordinance No. 5 of 2020 and pursuant to the terms of that Ordinance, entered into an Asset Purchase Agreement to sell the sanitary wastewater collection and disposal system to Aqua Pennsylvania Wastewater, Inc. The Township terminated the Asset Purchase Agreement on April 15, 2023. The purpose of the proposed Ordinance is to repeal, rescind and/or vacate Ordinance No. 5 of 2020.
